Our Mission

Computer Science has traditionally been considered to provide excellent career opportunities for young people. For the past few decades, however, it has further proven itself to be one of the top fast-developing fields that employ the greatest amount of highly qualified human capital.

The penetration of personal computers into different aspects of everyday life and the adoption of new revolutionary software systems by the business sector have caused Computer Science applications to grow to a whole new level of importance. Companies both in Europe and the United States are looking for more professionals to fill in the gap created by the rapid development of modern technologies and the insufficient amount of skilled work force currently available on the IT job market.

It is in these extreme circumstances that the computing industry needs more women to enter the field of high technologies. Inspired by the great achievements of female computer scientists through the ages since the invention of the first mechanical computing machine by Charles Babbage in 1821, we dedicate our mission to encouraging young female students to pursue a college degree and a successful career in the various branches of Computer Science and Information Technologies.
