Seminar Format and Content
We strive to manitain a balance between theoretical and practical topics. With two 20-minute long talks per meeting, we try to have one that's gives a high-level overview of a topic, and another which addresses practical software development techniques.
The presentation topic is chosen by the presenter. The CSSU Officers then help refine the topic, if needed, and point the student to resources they could use in preparing their talk.
Every talk is rehearsed before it is actually delivered in front of members of the Union, to ensure the presentation adequately covers the topic, as well as to encourage appropriate slide format and style.
Please contact us if you're interested in presenting a topic.
