CSSU PROGRAMMING PROJECTS
The initiative
CSSU Programming Projects are developed by members of the organization for educational purposes. They are not any commercial applications and can be written for AUBG, outside stakeholders or just for the sake of programming. There may be short-term projects, developed as individual efforts, or long-term projects which require teamwork and a little more research and planning.
Coordination and Help
The people who organize the teams and individuals working on projects are the members of the Projects Committee. These people will give feedback on programming style, algorithms and data structures used, team management, and possible areas of research. The purpose of the committee is to encourage students to develop their programming skills by solving different real-world problems practically by writing code.
Open Coding Sessions
The Projects Committee will also organize open coding sessions. These are not connected with any specific type of project, but rather help students develop their specific skills in programming. The sessions will use a top-down approach in solving a given problem or implementing a software application. They will concentrate on topics like event-driven programming, user interface design, input validation. The open coding sessions are going to be announced in advance.
